Laboratories:
All laboratories utilized by Screenpointe for testing and GC/MS confirmations are SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration) certified and follow federal government guidelines. Laboratory results are generally available within 24 hours. Initial positive results undergo further testing and are then forwarded to a Medical Review Officer for interpretation and discussion with candidate.
Medical Review Officer (MRO)
Upon positive laboratory confirmation, the laboratory results are immediately forwarded to a Medical Review Officer (MRO). It is the responsibility of the Medical Review Officer to ensure integrity of the drug test result, verify prescriptions that may have resulted in a positive finding, and allow the candidate an opportunity to discuss the results in a confidential, one-on-one interview before findings are reported. Screenpointe utilizes the services of Medical Review Officers certified by the American Association of Medical Review Officers.
Results:
Negative Results: Next Day
Non-Negative: Next Day to 3 Days (Depending upon Response from Donor for MRO Interview)
